Theatre Credits: Brian J. Lilienthal has designed the lighting for well over 250 productions in regional theatres around the country including: 6 seasons, and over 60 productions at Actors Theatre of Louisville (including 20 new plays as part of the Humana Festival) as resident lighting designer, Trinity Repertory Company, Merrimack Rep, The Arden, Cleveland Playhouse, GEVA Theatre Center, Arizona Theatre, South Coast Rep, Pasadena Playhouse, among many.

Opera Credits: Long Beach Opera, Portland Opera Repertory Theatre, Bard Summerscape, Boston Academy of Music.

Awards: Mr. Lilienthal won the 2006 Los Angeles Ovation award for his lighting of Ken Roht’s Echo’s Hammer at the Theatre @ Boston Court in Pasadena.

Education/Other: He holds a BFA from Emerson College and an MFA from the California Institute of the Arts. Mr. Lilienthal currently teaches at Tufts University, and plays drums in a Boston area rockabilly band.
