Sean Daniels has directed at The Kennedy Center (Washington, DC), St. James (West End, London), Actors Theatre of Louisville (where he served as Associate Artistic Director directing a record 17 productions in 4 years including 5 Humana Festivals), Geva Theatre Center (where he serves as Artist-At-Large) Cleveland Play House, Alliance Theatre, California Shakespeare Theater (where he was Resident Director/ AAD), Swine Palace, Neo-Futurists, Aurora Theatre, Centerstage, Crowded Fire, and the Edinburgh Fringe. He has developed new work with Manhattan Theatre Club, Eugene O’Neill Center, Baltic American Playwrights Conference (Hiiumaa, Estonia), Ars Nova, PlayPenn, Lark Play Development Center, PlayLabs, Asolo Rep, Goodspeed Opera, Weston Playhouse, Bay Area Playwrights, and the Magic Theatre. He spent a decade as Artistic Director and Co- Founder of Dad’s Garage Theatre in Atlanta. Sean was named “One of the top fifteen up and coming artists in the US, whose work will be transforming America’s stages for decades to come” by American Theatre Magazine.
