Constance Macy lives in Indianapolis, where she has been a regular performer at Indiana Repertory Theatre for 22 years. Roles include Annette in God of Carnage, Mrs. Cratchit and others in A Christmas Carol, the title role in Becky’s New Car, a solo performance in Lost: A Memoir, Barbara in James Still’s Iron Kisses, Belinda Blair in Noises Off and many others. She founded ShadowApe Theatre Company in 1999 and has appeared in all of its critically acclaimed productions including her original adaptations of Kurt Vonnegut’s Welcome to the Monkey House and Anne Sexton’s Transformations. Other company credits include Pioneer Theatre Company, Syracuse Stage, Kansas City Repertory Theatre, Phoenix Theatre, Heartland Actors Repertory Theatre and Cardinal Stage Company.
