    Parking at UNC

We recommend that you allow at least 30 minutes to find a space at one of the parking lots mentioned below. Your first choice may not always be available, so be prepared with a second option in order to avoid running late.

All shows will start on time and late seating is not guaranteed.

    Accessibility

A total of eight (8) accessible parking spaces are available on Paul Green Drive, the surface lot behind the theatre, and in marked spots in the Cobb Deck as indicated in purple on the map below. You may also be able to make use of the metered parking in front of the building along Country Club Rd.

Please note the locations below are not guaranteed for every performance, as they may be reserved for certain campus events.

Cobb Parking Deck: This is the closest parking deck, located behind the Joan H. Gillings Center for Dramatic Art. This option also fills up the fastest, so if you’re running late you may want to choose another option.

Highway 54/Raleigh Rd. Visitors Lot: 2 blocks from the Joan H. Gillings Center for Dramatic Art.

Park Place Lot: 5 blocks from the Joan H. Gillings Center for Dramatic Art.

Metered spaces along Country Club Road and South Road: Please note that meters need to be activated 24 hours a day on weekdays until 5:00pm Friday. Click here to learn how to operate UNC’s Digital Meter Pay Stations. PlayMakers is not responsible for parking tickets.
