Marinda Anderson is excited to make her PlayMakers debut. She was most recently seen in Every Good Girl Deserves Fun and Other Misremembered Things by Heidi Armbruster at the Walkerspace in New York. Other New York credits include Sex of the Baby (Access Theatre); Macbeth (Lincoln Center Interactive Theatre); Far From Heaven (Playwrights Horizons); Obama-ology (The Juilliard School); “The Devine One”: Sassy Swings Tokyo, her solo show about Sarah Vaughan (LaMama Theatre). Regionally she has performed at Cleveland Playhouse (Fairfield, Carol for Cleveland); Dorset Theatre (Intimate Apparel); Theatreworks (Cubamor); Chautauqua Theatre (Love’s Labours Lost); Perseverance Theatre (Hair, Laramie Project, Doubt); Playhouse on the Square (Aida, Beauty and the Beast). Television credits include Gotham (FOX) and Homegirls, her original webseries. Marinda holds an MFA from the NYU Graduate Acting Program and a BFA in musical theatre from Howard University.
