An award winning costume designer, author and speaker based in Los Angeles, Holly has designed for theater, opera, themed entertainment and independent film. Designs include Shiv (Boston Court Theater); Romeo and Juliet (Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles); Death of a Salesman, Three Days of Rain (South Coast Repertory); Opus (Repertory Theater of St Louis, Portland Center Stage); Shipwrecked! (Cincinnati Playhouse); Top Secret (New York Theater Workshop); The Power of Darkness, The Daughter-in-Law (Mint Theater, New York); Sky Girls (Old Globe Theater); national tours for LATheaterWorks; Motion Picture Madness, the gateway attraction for Universal Studios theme park in Japan; and Chekhov’s The Wood Demon (Mark Taper Forum, Playhouse Theatre in London). She designed the UK tour of Miss Evers Boys and the European tour of Don Juan, a flamenco opera. She is the resident designer for LA Shakespeare Center’s Simply Shakespeare, an annual fundraising performance featuring Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks to benefit at-risk youth, a program recognized by the US Dept. of Justice for its success.
