Assistant Director, Dramaturg
Kristin is a Chapel Hill native and recent graduate of the University of Evansville. A director and dramaturg, she has worked with Portland Stage Company on the world premiere of John Cariani’s new play, Last Gas and The Syringa Tree, as well as Portland Stage’s two new play festivals, Little Festival of the Unexpected and From Away. She was also assistant director at PlayMakers for Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf.
An advocate of new work, Kristin produced and directed an evening of new plays by Maine writers under the age of 30, called RAW, and has worked for the past three years at The New Harmony Project in Indiana. She directed The House of Blue Leaves and dramaturged Light Up the Sky at the University of Evansville. Locally, Kristin has worked with DSI Comedy Theater, Manbites Dog Theater in Durham, and taught theatre at the Governor’s School of North Carolina.
