Rebecca Martínez is a Brooklyn-based director, choreographer, writer, and deviser.

Recent projects: Directing: Voz Alta: Amor en los tiempos de guerra (Milagro Theatre), Tomás and the Library Lady (Oregon Children’s Theatre), Ms. Julie, Asian Equities (Brave New World Repertory Theatre, NYC), 26 Miles (Profile Theatre), You’re Not Alone (anymore) (Stella Adler School for Acting).

Writing: Óye Oyá (Music by Rodolfo Ortega, Milagro Theatre), La Muerte Baila (Milagro Theatre, Teatro Visión), Survivors (Harlem9 at Pregones/PRTT).

Rebecca is an ensemble member of Sojourn Theatre, a member of the Lincoln Center Theater Directors Lab, INTAR’s Unit52, the 2015-16 SDCF Observership Class, the Latinx Theatre Commons, an Associate Member of SDC, and a 2017 Drama League Directing Fellow. Rebecca is an artist with the Center for Performance and Civic Practice.
