Education: Tanya Schreiber holds a BA and MA in Music from Rice University.
Credits: She has performed with orchestras and major music festivals throughout the United States and Europe including the North Carolina Symphony, Carolina Ballet, North Carolina Opera; the Britt Festival in Jacksonville, Oregon; the Spoleto Festival in Charleston, South Carolina and Spoleto, Italy; the Assisi Festival; the Cascade Festival in Bend, Oregon; the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria; Sarasota Opera; New World Symphony; and the National Repertory Orchestra. A Durham resident since 2004, Ms. Schreiber freelances in the area and plays principal second with the Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle. She also works full-time as program coordinator for the Duke Institute for Brain Sciences.
