Dan Hoyle is making his PlayMakers debut. The Real Americans premiered at The Marsh in San Francisco, where Dan has created all his solo shows, before touring the US, going to Calcutta, India, and playing Off-Broadway (Culture Project). His most recent solo show, Each and Every Thing, played Joe’s Pub (The Public Theater in New York) and just finished a run at Portland Center Stage. His third solo show, Tings Dey Happen (Will Glickman Award-winner), ran five months Off-Broadway (Lucille Lortel Award nomination for Outstanding Solo Show), before touring Nigeria sponsored by the US State Department. Dan’s multi-actor play Game On, co-written with Tony Taccone, won the TBA Award for Best New Play. He most recently appeared as an actor in Samantha Chanse’s Fruiting Bodies (The Sheen Center).
