April Mae Davis


PlayMakers: Company member in first year of UNC’s Professional Actor Training Program. Sense and Sensibility

April Mae Davis is from Kinston, NC, and was seen in the National Black Theatre Festival as Oya in In the Red and Brown Water. She was given the opportunity to study in Oxford, England at the British American Drama Academy’s Midsummer in Oxford Program at Oxford University. She appeared in Crowns at the Barn Dinner Theater as Wanda and Mabel (Swing), Black Nativity and The Right Reverend Dupree in Exile at the NC Black Repertory Company, and several NC A&T State University productions including Radio Golf, The Amen Corner as Margret Alexander, No Dwelling: Homeless in America, Breath, Boom, and Smokey Joe’s Café.
