Enlightenment: $5. Looking great in your yoga pants: Priceless.
Joan is the new CEO of Jojomon, an apparel giant whose reputation isn't as sterling as the fit of their bestselling yoga pants. Her plan to save the company - and her career - is super risky and requires her team to go well beyond the call of duty. This biting, bubbly comedy explores the search for enlightenment in a world determined to sell it.
“Comic nirvana… the show has an uncommon comic electricity, an aliveness to the present moment that’s only possible in live theater.” — SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE
In light of the Omicron COVID surge, and our interest to protect the health & safety of our patrons, artists, staff, and students for whom our theatre is a professional learning environment, PlayMakers Repertory Company will be requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination (physical or digital copy) or a negative PCR test taken within 48 hours of a performance, along with matching photo ID. UNC-Chapel Hill students, faculty, and staff may present their campus One Card to demonstrate proof of compliance.
This change will be effective with all performances of “Stick Fly” and “Yoga Play” (Feb 23-Mar 13, 2022). We will be monitoring the latest guidance from state and University health officials for the remainder of the 21/22 season.
Mask wearing will continue to be required of all patrons, staff, artists, and students (except actors while on stage) in all of our indoor spaces. For a complete list of PlayMakers’ health & safety guidelines, please visit:
